NEWS: Vincitori Golden Globes 2011


Domenica notte/lunedì si sono tenuti i Golden Globes, definita ormai da tempo l'anti camera degli Oscar. A far da padroni sono stati gli inglesi, primis tra tutti Meryl"Iron Lady"Streep, che, con la sua magistrale interpretazione di Margaret Tatcher in The Iron Lady, si aggiudicherà sicuramente la sua 17esima nomination agli Academy Awards. Altra attrice americana a vincere un globo d'oro come miglior attrice di Musical/commedia in un film inglese è Michelle Williams in My Week with Marilyn, dove interpreta la mitica Monroe. Williams arriva a sbaragliare rivali del calibro di Jodie Foster e Kate Winslet, entrambe nominate per Carnage di Polansky, ma se Foster rimane a bocca asciutta, l'attrice britannica si rifà vincendo il suo terzo Golden Globes grazie a Mildred Pierce, miniserie diretta da Todd Haynes. British style alla riscossa con la vittoria di Downton Abbey nella miglior serie televisiva (i Golden Globes premiano anche i telefilm e i film tv) e finalmente un riconoscimento a Christopher Plummer nel film made in england Beginners, come miglior attore non protagonista. Miglior attore drammatico è George Clooney per Paradiso amaro, decretato miglior film drammatico e diretto da Alexander Payne. Clooney viene ignorato con Le idi di marzo di cui è il regista, ma sbaraglia la concorrenza di Leonardo Di Caprio, Brad Pitt, Michael Fassbender e Ryan Gosling: riuscirà a vincere il suo secondo Oscar in caso di nomination? Niente bis per Payne, il miglior regista è Martin Scorsese per Hugo, a sorpresa con il suo primo film per famiglie. Steven Spielberg invece si deve accontentare del miglior film di animazione con Tin Tin: Il segreto dell'unicorno, portando a casa "zero tituli" con War Horse. Miglior film commedia è The Artist, che premia anche il miglior attore Jean Dujardin, mentre la sua partner Berénice Bejo viene battuta da Octavia Spencer per The Help. Miglior film straniero è l'iraniano Una separazione. A sorpresa Madonna la spunta su Elton John, vincendo nella categoria miglior canzone con Masterpiece, del suo W.E. di cui firma anche la regia. Ci sarà lo stesso duello agli Oscar? Woody Allen viene confermato ancora una volta come miglior sceneggiatore di sempre (rimanendo pur sempre un ottimo regista s'intende) con Midnight in Paris e probabilmente riceverà una sicura nomination agli Oscar, magari portandosi a casa il quarto della carriera. Sul fronte serial, Mad Men viene snobbato a favore di nuove serie come Homeland, decretata la miglior serie drama dell'anno (premiata anche Claire Danes come miglior attrice) e Bosses che fa vincere a Kelsey Grammer l'agognata statuetta. Jessica Lange è la miglior attrice non protagonista per la serie America Horror Story. Ci saranno sorprese agli Academy Awards, o il copione è stato già scritto? La risposta è il 26 febbraio!
